Macworld 2011
In January 2011, I was invited to present at Macworld Expo 2011 in San Francisco as the Featured Artist. I gave 2 talks about my artwork including a live interview and demo on the Macworld Live Stage (see video above).
Artwork
As part of being the Featured Artist, I was asked to produce 2 paintings for the entrance of the hall. I produced the following 2 images called 'The Spectacle' and 'K8-e' more on these pieces can be found here;

Interviews / Promo
As part of the Expo I was given the opportunity to be featured in a number of photo opportunities, interviews and demonstrations. I was interviewed for ABC news in San Francisco, photographed with Andy Warhol's Apple Painting and given the opportunity to demo painting on a large interactive touch whiteboard by Smart Technologies.
San Francisco / Opportunities
I gave myself an extra week in San Francisco after the expo to explore and follow up a few opportunities. I was lucky enough to be given a tour of 'Industrial Light and Magic' which was incredible, I got to vist the Pixar Studio and the Apple HQ in Cupertino. I also spent a couple of days walking around San Francisco.
The whole trip was an amazing experience!
